Kellie Matack

Kellie recently moved to Hemet, CA from Colorado Springs, CO where her husband was stationed with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson. In Colorado, Kellie taught at Ballet Society of Colorado Springs, Zamuel Ballet, as well as guest at several prominent dance schools around the state. Before her Colorado adventures she resided at Fort Campbell, KY where she conducted the dance program of 250 students on Fort Campbell. At 17 years of age Kellie Matack received a professional contract with the Minnesota Ballet where she performed such works as Balanchine’s “Apollo”, Anges De Mille’s “Three Virgin’s & a Devil”, as well as several famous pieces. During those three years, she received scholarships to and attended American Ballet Theater, School of American Ballet, Washington School of Ballet, and Boston Ballet. She received the coveted Director’s Scholarship to The Walnut HIll School of the Arts and Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, where she danced with for 3 years, and had the privilege of learning and performing such works as; The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Who Care’s, Serenade, Swan Lake, and Dwight Rhoden’s Carmina Burana. She has had the opportunity to train under the tutelage of Ethan Stiefel, Terrance S. Orr, Marianna Tcherkassky, along with many other prominent dancers and instructors of today. She is a proud army wife and mother Ethan-Nikolas. She is also a volunteer for the local Team River Runner (a recreational therapy program for Wounded Warriors & their families) as well as a medic for Search & Rescue. Kellie is excited to share her love for dance.
