Katherine Berry


Katherine Berry has trained in classical ballet for over 15 years and has been teaching for over 5 years. She has trained under such notable teachers as Maxim Tchernychev and Sylvia Poolos at San Diego Academy of Ballet, Ben and Lauri-Michelle Houk, Nancy Robinson and Shawn Black at San Eljio Dance and Music Academy, Sylvia Palmer at Black Mountain Dance Centre, and Olga Tchekachova and Sayat Asatryan at Encinitas Ballet. She has been accepted on scholarship to programs at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Houston Ballet, Kaatsbaan International Dance Center, and Milwaukee Ballet. She has performed leading roles in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, La Bayadere, and many others. She has also originated roles in pieces by Arturo Fernandez of Lines Ballet, Broadway choreographer Margo Sappington, Nadia Thompson of Milwaukee Ballet, and Benjamin Houk of Pacific Northwest Ballet. Most recently, she graduated from Mt San Jacinto College with 3 associate degrees, a 4.0 GPA, and as a member of the Honors Enrichment Program and Phi Theta Kappa. Katherine is honored and inspired to be part of the Dunamix family!
